Wayne Wiebler Named Grand Marshall of the 2023 SC2 Peoria TT presented by Country Saloon!

From an early age Wayne Wiebler was interested in motorcycles and in 1951 at the age of 13 he started working for the local Harley-Davidson dealership, Walters Brothers, which he would later go on to purchase in 1979.

Interested in racing, Wayne was only 16 years old when he entered his first motorcycle race. In the 1959 racing season, Wiebler won 19 races, including the June TT race at the Peoria Motorcycle Club and that year’s AMA National Amateur title.

Wayne joined the Peoria Motorcycle Club in 1954 and once he retired from racing he went on to serve as race director from 1980-1989 and is still an active PMC member today.

Under his direction, his sons Steve and Stann along with his grandkids, currently run Walters Brothers Harley-Davidson, which is recognized by Harley-Davidson as one of the top dealers in the country.
